Antique Mauchline Ware Desktop Ruler, Pen Nib Holder-Crossthwaite Church

Collectable Mauchline rolling pin desktop ruler / pen nib holder.
In the form of a rolling pin with Transfer image of Crossthwaite Church, near Keswick, Cumbria, UK.
The rolling pin acts as a ruler with one of the ball ends being a removable stopper which, when removed, reveals a short inner cavity to hold dip pen nibs.. 
There is also the name of a previous owner, 'Thomas McWalter' in gilt lettering.  
Believed to date to the Victorian era - late 1800's

Overall length approx 290 mm (11.50")

Pre-owned antique.
Antique used condition.
Some 'age and character' patination - showing some usage marking, knocks and scrapes and wear to the gilt lettering.
