Pint Ale Glass With Wrythen Stem - Early 1900s

Early 20th Century Ale Glass.

Tall glass flute in the Georgian style with Wrythen twist stem and snapped pontil.

We understand these hand blown glasses were imported from the Netherlands circa early 1900s

Nice example of an unusual & uncommon glass that would compliment an antique Ale Glass collection

Stands approx 300 mm (12.00") tall
Diameter at rim approx 120 mm (4.50")
Diameter at base approx 130 mm  (5.125")

Pre-owned, used.
Very good condition overall considering age and usage
Small imperfection / 'nic' to rim (see photos) but still has a good ring when 'pinged'
Flute having some good clear striations visible within the glass.
Snapped / unpolished pontil to base.
