Irish Linen Pillowcases-Pair-Shamrock Whitework Frill

Attractive pair of Victorian / Edwardian Irish linen pillowcases with a whitework shamrock pattern frill. 
Each having a narrow end flap with two buttonholes for concealed cloth buttons - only one button remains.
We can supply four unused antique pure linen cloth buttons if desired.These are slightly larger and different from the one remaining cloth button, however they do go through the buttonholes. Please note that these buttons have been in storage and are not as pristine white as the pillowcases – however, when in situe they would be hidden anyway.

Size:
Approx. 34.50” x 24” inclusive of frill  (29” x 18.75” without frill). 
These are maximum measurements so will require a pillow a little smaller than the quoted size.

Previously owned & used antique linen.
There is a grey laundry identification number and a red ‘W’ label on the inside flaps.
The Pillowcases are freshly laundered and in crisp used condition. One ‘wee’ flaw as per photo.
