Waistcoat With MOP Buttons

The striped material is a kind of heavy linen cotton and is lined and backed with a soft cotton linen
Six Mother of Pearl Buttons. 
The buttons are not sewn on but passed through a tiny buttonhole and held on by a clip at the back of the buttonhole, which should make them removeable (although they are a little tight).

Four pockets to the front and a belt with a buckle to the back.
A cloth button and buttonhole holds the buckle in place. The buckle itself has two prongs and is marked 'Prima'.

Size:
Measures when flat as a 36" chest - (our model is a 32" bust).
Approx. 20" deep from the shoulder to the point at the front.

Condition:
Very good used condition.
Has had a light hand wash but does have some light storage stain patches in a few places at the front of the waistcoat.

Nice display / practical piece, or authentic period prop for theatre, reenactments etc
