Superb pair of large antique linen Oxford Pillowcases. 
Embroidered white work monogram ‘M’ to one corner. 
Ladder work edges and a deep inside opening flap (approx. 22cm)  to enclose the pillow.
Believed to date to the late Victorian / Edwardian era.
Grey/black print and red embroidered laundry identification numbers inside opening flap.

Weight approx. 462gm

Nice display / practical piece, or authentic period prop for theatre or reenactments

Approx. 36” x 25.50” (91cm x 64cm) outside edges.  
Approx  32” x 21.50” (55cm x 81cm) inside edges
