Lace Modesty Panel, Handmade.

Unusual, well executed piece of lace which believed to be handmade Honiton dating to the 19th century - possibly used as a dress modesty panel
The main pattern itself is on a smaller scale than we are used to finding - measuring approx. 4.10" at the deepest point. 
Edged with a narrow piece of lace - but unsure as to whether that is also Honiton

Complete panel measures approx. 9.75" x 5.50" at the furthest points - excluding the extra piece of narrow lace edging shown to the left hand side which is approx. 4".
