Silk Christening / Baptism Robe, Early 20th Century Circa 1920s / 1930s

Beautiful lemon coloured silk Christening gown with deep lace insertions.

Bobbin lace to the neck and cuffs.
Main lace type unknown.
Delicate lemon coloured silk embroidery to the front of the bodice either side of a lace panel.
Vertical pintucks to the back of the bodice and a panel of pintucks to the top of the sleeves. 

Two mop buttons with loops for closure.

Silk ribbon attached to the front of the bodice but this silk is now shredded.

Size:
Approx. 20" chest and 36" long

Condition:
Exceedingly good used condition for its age.
One small hole in the lace of the bodice and the  ribbon to the front is shredding which could easily be replaced if desired.
