Pair of Victorian / Edwardian era gilt metal spring back cufflinks / batchelor buttons.
Moulded opaque glass inserts with star shape design. 

The back of each cufflink has a spring action mechanism allowing for the two halves to come away from one another,

These pieces could be worn as cufflinks or as lapel buttons.

Measurements:
Diameter approx 0.75" (17mm).
Overall height approx 0.50" (12mm).

Pre-owned & used.
Good vintage condition with some light surface tarnish to the gilt finish.
Spring action in good working order.
